Melbourne based vocalist, songwriter, DJ and producer releases her brand-new single Real Love, the first track from her highly anticipated second album "Chasing Gold".
Real Love sees Chelsea move into rare-groove territory, fusing her love of early disco, epic pop and jazz. Coproduced by ARIA nominated composer/ bassist Ross McHenry (The Shaolin Afronauts), the track features lush string orchestration arranged by Ross Irwin (The Bamboos) and backing vocals by Jason Heerah (Electric Empire). Co-written with her long-term pianist Andy Boyle, the song is a sweeping cinematic disco odyssey that depicts the emotion, anticipation and excitement of new love

To celebrate the launch of the single and preview new tracks from “Chasing Gold” Chelsea will perform in BAD GIRLS DISCO with Renee Geyer and Kylie Auldist as a feature event for Melbourne Music Week at the Australian Centre for Moving Image November 20.
The accompanying “Real Love” film clip, directed and produced by Jay Adshead, was shot over two days in Wilson’s Promontory national park. Shot using 1970’s anamorphic Japanese lenses by Director of Photography Paul Hughes (Wentworth), the clip was inspired by vintage Vogue magazine desert photo shoots, the Australian landscape and Viktor and Rolf. Featuring costumes made by emerging Melbourne designer Alice Palermo, the clip depicts the story of two lovers separated by time and space performed by contemporary dancers Anna Kallstrom and Anna Cerreto.
